OUR BACKGROUND

AIRWINGS RECREATIONAL FLYING SCHOOL operates out of the Murrumbidgee Aero Club (M.A.C.). Your flight training will be individually designed to suit your learning abilities & will be conducted in RAA certified 2 seat training aircraft which are also CASA approved.
We train in the TECNAM P92 ECHO SUPER nose wheel.

Quality flight instruction is provided by Chief Flying Instructor (CFI) Wally Rudin who also owns the School.    Wally is a gifted & talented pilot & a skilled instructor with some 45 years of flying experience.   Wally commenced his flying career as a private pilot in Switzerland where he went on to achieve his commercial pilot licence with an IFR & Aerobatic rating.   Next was his GA Instructors Rating & 2 years training in the airline industry up to multi-engine standard.   Whilst a career in the airline industry was not for Wally, he continued to hone his flying skills in & around the hazardous Swiss Alps, flying for a private voluntary Rescue Service, recovering lost & injured skiers from the snowfields, glaciers & throughout the Alps.
Wally’s flying experience covered a wide range of aircraft types flown, not only in Switzerland but throughout Europe, before he emigrated to Australia & was introduced to Recreational aircraft.
